With works well underway, the King Fahad Causeway Authority (KFCA) Observation Towers have begun showing their new revamped form.
The project, which started in April 2014, involves the renovation of two identical towers, one located on the Bahrain side and the other on the Saudi Arabia side of the KFC island which contains the borders of the two countries.
Undertaken on a design and build contract, based on a concept design by Atkins and supervised by SSH, the two towers accommodate a 54m high observation deck, 8 glass floored ! walkways, a luxury restaurant on the 1st floor and an aquarium exhibition at ground floor level.
One million Safe Man Hours without LTI have already been achieved on the project. Well done to all!
