Safety Campaign: Risks of heat exhaustion
As part of their ongoing safety campaign on the risks of heat exhaustion, the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions visited GPZ staff at the new Oncology Centre project of King Hamad University Hospital. An estimated 100 employees participated in the presentation which was aimed at spreading and enhancing public heat stress awareness, as well as identifying and treating dehydration.
The Federation’s delegation praised GPZ’s site safety standards and welfare facilities for the workers on the project and expressed their appreciation to GPZ’s management for their good organization and hospitable welcome. GPZ would like to thank the Federation for their initiative and the GPZ PMT and workers for their high levels of safety awareness and standards.
