Construction of two prime towers, with residential accommodation and office spaces.
Construction of two prime towers, rhombus-shaped on plan, providing residential accommodation in one tower and office spaces for leasing in the other. The towers sit on a common podium above a two level basement. The construction comprises of a reinforced concrete frame, double-glazed curtain walling using blue reflective glass and aluminium composite panel cladding for the ground and mezzanine levels. The project scope included the interior fit-out works, along with all mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations which were carried out by GPZ’s MEP Division.
The residential tower (built-up area of 3,430m2) provides a total of thirty one apartments ranging in size from one bedroom to three bedroom units. The office tower provides suites of different sizes on each floor, with pantry and washroom facilities, giving a total net rentable area of 3,885m2. The ground and mezzanine levels are devoted to food and beverage outlets, with kitchen areas in the 1st level basement. An underground parking, offering a total of 65 parking spaces, is incorporated in the remaining basement areas.
The reception, public areas, general circulation spaces, as well as the residential apartments, are completely fitted-out with high specification finishes such as marble wall and floor finishes, suspended gypsum-board ceilings with ornamental coving, wooden doors with decorative metal inlays, etc. The office areas are complete with all services and finishes, except for the floor finishes which are to be provided by tenants. Manufacture and installation of fixed furniture items throughout the building, including fully-fitted kitchens and bespoke cabinets and wardrobes, were carried out by GPZ’s specialised Joinery Division.
