‍Project Overview

A turnkey fit-out project for BNP Paribas Headquarters at Bahrain Financial Harbour, West Tower, for 6 floors (3rd, 4th, 44th, 50th, 51st, 52nd), covering a total area of 5,650m². The scope involved demolitions, alterations and the complete re-finishing of existing offices to accommodate the new layouts and designs, in addition to fit-out works for the Bank’s Customer ServicesBranch on the 3rd floor and Main Server room on the 4th floor.

Interior partitioning comprised of sound insulated plasterboard faced partitions, full-height glazed aluminium partitions with double-glazed aluminium doors to meeting rooms and the complete 52nd Executive floor, with frameless 12mm thick tempered glass doors to all offices. Floors were finished in granite and carpet tiles, while ceilings were finished in a combination of metallic micro-perforated suspended ceilings and suspended plasterboard ceilings with lighting coves. Wall finishes included various wall covering materials, acrylic panels, black mirrors with engraved logo/text and ceramic tiles to pantries.

GPZ’s specialised manufacturing divisions fabricated and installed various bespoke joinery such as reception counters, filing cabinets and sliding/folding doors, as well as custom metalwork including raised access flooring and stainless steel cladding to the existing double entrance and safe doors.

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations included the air-conditioning system, supply and installation of light fixtures, fire protection and fighting systems, public address system, conduits, electrical power and data cable trays, wiring, sanitary ware, fittings and accessories, and an access door control system.
